uSmart demonstrated on the Hong Kong Electronics Fair, a 4.8-inch WVGA M1C micro-laptop, which can safely be classified as mobile Internet devices with more capabilities.
The uSmart M1C is built on an Intel Atom Z530 processor, an Intel GMA 500 graphics adapter and is equipped with HDMI output for an external display on high definition resolution, a 4.8-inch display with resolution of 800×480 pixels.
Ultimate small-size device in the form factor notebook (compared to the HTC Hero) has been achieved primarily through a strong reduction of the keyboard. But the laptop weighs is just 500 grams.
Software platform of uSmart M1C can be equipped with Linux, Windows XP, Vista and even the latest Windows 7 OS. What is lacking is the increasingly popularity of Google Android. Does the manufacturer to run uSmart M1C into mass production? This is not reported.
