USRobotics has recently announced its mini NAS adapter, called the USRobotics USR8710 uShare. The device is actually turns USB external hard drive into a network storage device on local network, which allows files and media to be easily shared at work or at home all from a single device.

USRobotics USR8710 uShare Mini NAS adapter is support for stream music or videos to Xbox 360/PS3, set up a Bit Torrent, or even share a printer over the network. The USR8710 uShare is capable for up to 2TB hard drive / flash drive, and swap or upgrade drives on the fly. In additional, USRobotics USR8710 has features Auto IP/Fixed IP, and 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gigabit Ethernet connections.

For security, USRobotics USR8710 uShare Mini NAS adapter provides username/password for configuration utility, user level and folder settings. It is bundled with SyncQuick Back-Up and SyncQuick NAS Manager Software. The uShare is also allows users to access shared files remotely from anywhere with Internet connectivity.
