Verbatim has extended its line of new portable external USB hard drive with a capacity of 640GB. The product is now available in stores at a price £119.99 (suggested retail price). Verbatim 640GB portable external hard drive is a 2.5-inch HDD in Silver enclosure, its size and weight is no different from PDA or Smartphone and well in the hand.
This Verbatim 640GB portable external USB hard drive has weighs just 157g and its dimensions are 135×85x21 mm. It has speed of 5400rpm to ensure the transfer of 480 Mbit/s via the USB port, which also provides power source. The system includes a software package, Nero BackItUp 4 Essentials, user can use to quickly and easily create backup copies of important data. According to manufacture, it is capable of storing up to 160000 songs, 1280 videos or 290000 photos.
