Verbatim has launches a new high-performance portable hard drives, SureFire FW800. This external hard drives is simple design but includes a FireWire 800 connection and USB 2.0 ports.

Verbatim SureFire FW800 has run 2.5-inch drive with capacities of 250GB, 320GB, and 500GB, also with 8MB cache and 5,200rpm. Their chassis is scratch-resistant aluminum. It’s ideal to pair of MacBook Pros because Apple use FireWire 800 and provided full 800Mbps of bandwidth.

Verbatim SureFire FW800 portable hard drive has prices $110 for the 250GB, $140 for the 320GB and $180 for 500GB. It is already available today.
