Verizon HTC Thunderbolt 4G LTE smartphone makes official
At the CES 2011 in Las Vegas, HTC and Verizon finally announced the long-rumored smartphone that called the HTC Thunderbolt. The handset is look like the HTC Desire HD for Verizon and the HTC Inspire 4G for AT&T.
The HTC Thunderbolt smartphone is the 4G LTE-capable devices that make it one major selling point. The 4G LTE capabilities is allows users download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage areas.
New HTC Thunderbolt smartphone will boast a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Android 2.2 OS. It is brings a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen display with resolution of 800×480 pixel, 32GB microSD card included, Dolby and SRS Surround sound, wireless DLNA support, 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording and front-facing camera for video calls.
New HTC Thunderbolt is offers fully integrated Skype mobile experience, built-in kickstand for easy media viewing, and Mobile Hotspot capability for share 4G connection with up to 8 Wi-Fi devices.
The exact release date of Verizon HTC Thunderbolt is not reported yet.
