Verizon has official announced the new LG Enlighten midrange Android-powered smartphone. New LG handset should be available on September 22 (Verizon online) and September 29 (stores).

The Verizon LG Enlighten smartphone has price of $79.99 on a new 2-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. It is required a $39.99/month voice plan (450 minutes) and a $30 monthly 2GB data plan.

LG Enlighten Specifications

LG Enlighten is provides a side-sliding full physical QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 320 x 480 resolution. The Enlighten smartphone is powered by an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

It has features Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3G Mobile Hotspot (up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices), Adobe Flash 10 support, and a microSD card slot (a 2GB card included).
