Verizon makes LG Vortex Smartphone official
Verizon Wireless has officially announced Android-powered smartphone today, the LG Vortex. The handset has a sleek design and easy-to-use access to a variety of applications. The Verizon LG Vortex is coming in two color options – Black and Violet. This LG smartphone is runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS and support for Google Mobile Services.
LG Vortex smartphone has features 3.2-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 240×320 pixel, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and video recording (up to 16GB), and microSD card slot (up to 32 GB). In addition, Verizon Vortex is provides Wi-Fi and 3G mobile hotspot capability.
LG Vortex has brings Swype, image editor, Bing Search and Bing Maps preinstalled. Verizon offers LG Vortex for $79.99 with a new 2-year customer agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. The LG Vortex should be available on November 18, 2010.
