Verizon Pantech Crux Smartphone
Besides LG Octane messaging phone, Verizon Wireless U.S. mobile operator has also announced a candybar mobile phone, the Pantech Crux. The handset is manufactured by Pantech, which is perfect combination of sleek, simple, and affordable features plus the reliability of Verizon.
Pantech Crux is mid-range phone and sports a 3-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 240 x 400 pixels (WQVGA), 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB port, and microSD card slot with expandable to 32GB (1GB card included).
In their interface, Pantech Crux smartphone has widgets for easy access to social networking services, full suite of messaging options, and virtual QWERTY keyboard.
Battery of Pantech Crux is enabling up to 5 hours in talk time, up to two weeks of standby. Pantech Crux smartphone is works in CDMA EV-DO Rev. 0.
Cost of Pantech Crux will be $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new 2-year contract. It should be available on October 28th, 2010.
