Few days ago, Samsung DROID Charge was announced and Verizon is major wireless carrier in the United States. Like the HTC Thunderbolt, this Samsung smartphone is also coming with support 4G LTE connectivity.

However, Verizon DROID Charge by Samsung is now available for pre-order at Walmart for price tag of $249.99 with a new 2-year service contract, or $689.99 phone-only price (no-contract).

The Samsung DROID Charge smartphone has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, Mobile Hotspot capable, 8 megapixel rear facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, and a 32GB microSD card pre-installed.

Verizon Samsung DROID Charge handset is boast a 1GHz processor, and runs Google’s Android Froyo 2.2 OS with Adobe Flash 10.1 and Blockbuster Mobile application.
