Verizon Samsung Stratosphere enterprise smartphone on Oct 13th

Verizon Wireless has just official announced the extensively-leaked smartphone, the Samsung Stratosphere. New Samsung sliding handset should be available in US on October 13th, 2011.

The Stratosphere smartphone has price of $149.99 with a new 2-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Samsung Stratosphere Specifications

Running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the Verizon Samsung Stratosphere smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, and 4GB of built-in storage expandable with a microSD card.

New Samsung Stratosphere smartphone is packs a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, a slide-out 5-row QWERTY keyboard, a rear-facing 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera.

In term of connectivity, Samsung Stratosphere is provides 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, WiFi Hotspot capability, Bluetooth 3.0, and 4G LTE support.

As Samsung‘s business smartphone is support Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), B2B-ready services from Cisco, and Sybase Afaria (remote device management).
