Verizon Sony Ericsson Xperia Play at Amazon, just $99.99

Verizon will official release the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone on May 26th (this Thursday). However, Amazon is now offering pre-orders for Verizon Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone set only $99.99 with a new two-year contract or $149.99 for existing customers (upgrade).

This PlayStation certified phone is brings a side-sliding gamepad and pre-loaded with Madden NFL, The Sims 3, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Star Battalion, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior, Crash Bandicoot, and Tetris.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM 8655 single-core processor, powerful Adreno 205 graphics processor, 512MB of RAM, 400MB of internal storage and expandable 8GB microSD card. It is also runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone packs a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 3G Mobile Hotspot capability, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and GPS.
