Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, LG VL600 LTE USB modem [video]
LG and Verizon Wireless today announced the availability of its LTE USB modem, the LG VL600 that will be available on December 5th (this Sunday). The LG VL600 LTE USB modem ideal for business professional’s on-the-go with features a lightweight design, flip USB cover and sleek outer finish, and high-speed 4G internet connectivity. That makes traveling a streamlined and enjoyable experience.
The LG VL600 LTE USB modem is capable download speeds anywhere between 5Mbps to 12Mbps, while upload speeds between 2Mbps to 5Mbps, all in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area. Sadly, the LG VL600 4G LTE modem is only support Windows-based computers such as Windows 7 (32- or 64-bit), Vista 32/64-bit (SP2), and Windows XP 32-bit.
LG VL600 LTE USB modem has also a 4-color LED service status indicator. Dimensions of Verizon LG VL600 are 3.88 x 1.48 x 0.58 inches and weight 1.76 oz. The pricing of LG VL600 LTE USB modem will still $99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new 2-year contract.
Verizon also announced that its 4G LTE will launch in 38 major metropolitan areas, covering more than one-third of all Americans, and in more than 60 commercial airports. It is become the world’s largest 4G LTE wireless network.
