Verizon Wireless cuts Motorola Droid R2-D2 price now

Verizon Wireless has cut the price of Motorola R2-D2 Droid 2, now just $199.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate and with 2-year contract. The Motorola Droid R2-D2 smartphone is originally launched as a limited edition phone at Verizon.

As remind, Motorola Droid R2D2 has feature a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480×854 pixel (WVGA), physical slide out QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel auto–focus camera with Touch–to–Focus and Panoramic modes, 3G Mobile Hotspot with support for up to 5 devices, a-GPS, Bluetooth v2.1+EDR, and a 1400 mAH Li–Ion battery.

Motorola Droid R2-D2 smartphone is powered by a 1GHz TI OMAP processor with dedicated GPU, 8GB internal memory, a microSD card slot (expandable to 32GB), and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS with Motorola Application Platform.
