Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Note Edge gets Android 5.0 Lollipop update

Verizon Wireless is finally releasing Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the curved Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Meanwhile, whole major US carriers were rolled out the latest operating system update for this phone. The Big Red brings the latest update with software version of LRX22C.N915VVRU2BOF2.

Reportedly, there are a wide range of new features and improvements. It is including the fluid Material Design and combining the improved notifications. The ‘Blocking mode’ is now replaced by ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode. Other enhancements are also available such as
– Ability to set priority and privacy for notifications on lock screen.
– Added setting option to add/remove phone shortcut from lock screen
– Floating action button (+) has been added in various applications
– ‘Slow motion’ and ‘Fast motion’ were added to Camera Mode
– Milk Music will be preinstalled and easily accessible from the app tray
