VIA AMOS-1000 and AMOS-2000 stackable cases for EPIA motherboards
VIA Technologies has developed two compact body case type for their EPIA motherboard, made in the Mini-ITX and Nano-ITX form factor. New items were named AMOS-1000 and AMOS-2000 and intended for use in devices such as digital display systems, medical equipment, industrial machines, interactive devices, point of sale, as well as gaming and control systems. In this case, both support a modular layout that allows consumers to easily adapt them to fit your needs by simply adding new levels.
AMOS-1000 chassis is made of stainless steel and has dimensions of 287 x 70 x 246 mm and weighs 2.3 kg. It has supports the installation of EPIA motherboards in theĀ Mini-ITX format, as well as the placement of 2.5-inch hard drive and DC power shield. In addition, it has supported deployment of optional expansion cards, including wireless module, and interface cards, COM, DVI and USB.
As for AMOS-2000 chassis, it has also made of steel, but its dimensions are 190 x 60 x 19 mm and it weighs only 1.3 kg. It does not support the installation of expansion cards, but is able to accommodate EPIA motherboard in Nano-ITX form factor. In addition, the body is equipped with a front panel inputs and outputs, which can be ordered by the user on an individual basis to fit your needs.
