VIA M’SERV S2100 SOHO Server
Taiwan Company, VIA Technologies has announced its new ultra-compact server, called VIA M’Serv S2100.
According to VIA statements, the new VIA M’Serv S2100 is the first device in its class, which offers the unique advantages of the high-performance, the 64-bit VIA Nano processor. Its processor is usual used on notebook.
VIA M’Serv S2100 versatile server system is equipped with 2 slots of DDR2 SO-DIMM 667/533MHz memory, two 3.5-inches SATA hard drives bays with up to 4TB of total capacity. Its CompactFlash slot can be used as a boot disk. It is compatibility with platforms of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Linux and FreeBSD.
New VIA M’Serv S2100 is powered by 64-bit VIA Nano processor with clock speed of 1.3GHz to 1.6GHz. VIA M’Serv S2100 is equipped with a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and three USB ports. Dimensions of VIA M’Serv S2100 mini server are 259x135x115 mm.
VIA M’Serv S2100 is designed for use in modern small businesses and home offices users.
