VIA NetNote netbook with SurfBoard Platforms
VIA Technologies has introduced refrens design laptop, NetNote, which they says combines the features of the netbook and notebook. It is based on VIA Surfboard motherboards series, VIA C7-M ULV or Nano Processor and can be equipped with a screen diagonal of 10.2-inch to 12.1-inch. Also, the device uses an integrated VIA Chrome9 HCM graphics with full HD video capabilities. In addition, it can be equipped with a variety of modules, including the FM transmitter, a digital television receiver, adapters, cellular, and so on. According to VIA, products based on NetNote will appear later this month.
