Taiwanese mobile operator, Vibo Telecom has announced its first Android smartphone, called Vibo A688.

The Vibo A688 phone is production for Vibo Telecom outsources to Foxconn International Holding (FIH) manufacturer.

The Vibo A688 Android phone is equipped with 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 3.5mm audio connector, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and Wi-Fi. Vibo A688 is runs Android 1.6 OS. It is boasts a 600MHz Qulacomm MSM7227 processor.

According to available data, Vibo Telecom is in talks with Gigabyte Communications and AboCom Systems for cooperation in the production of other Android-based smartphones.
