ViewSonic has today introduced its new compact media player, namely ViewSonic NexTV VMP75. It is designed for the digital home entertainment system use.

New network media player supports playback of high definition video (up to Full HD resolution) formats: MPEG-1/2/4, DivX, Xvid, H.264/AVC, and WMV9. It is allows view images in JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, and TIFF, as well as play audio files in MP3, MPEG Audio, Dolby Digital, DTS, WMA, WMA Pro, PCM, LPCM, FLAC, WAV, AAC, HE-AAC, OGG, MKA,VORBIS.

The ViewSonic NexTV VMP75 player has built-in Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and compatibility with streaming internet content, web browsing, custom RSS feeds, and most popular multimedia hosting such as YouTube and Flickr.

ViewSonic NexTV VMP75 network media player is equipped with USB ports and eSATA for external storage devices, as well as provides HDMI, composite video output, and S/PDIF. The ViewSonic NexTV VMP75 has dimensions of 132x28x101 mm.

New NexTV VMP75 will be available for expected price of $150 and bundled with a remote control.
