ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 netbook presented formally

ViewSonic Corp. today officially introduced new netbook, ViewBook VNB102. This netbook will be starting sale on December 18.

ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 is the first netbook of manufacture and it is running under Windows 7 OS. ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 is based on Intel Atom N270 processor with a clock frequency of 1.6GHz, a 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, and a 160GB HDD.

New ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 netbook has a 10.1-inch WSVGA TFT LCD display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels (200 cd/m2 brightness), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, 3-in-1 card reader (SD, MMC, MS), stereo speakers, and 0.3-megapixel webcam.

ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 netbook also has three USB 2.0 port and D-Sub connector can connect an external monitor. Dimensions of ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 are 253×188x23 mm and weight is about 1.1kg. Its battery is 6-cell battery and provides up to 6 hours of battery life. ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 can be purchased for an estimated price of $400.
