Viliv S5 MID with Windows 7 shown at Computex Taipei
Computex 2009 exhibition starts today and it is likely to be represented by the mass of interesting products. It is anticipated that one of them will be mobile Internet device that is running the Windows 7 operating system. Viliv S5 MID, probably will be the first model of this class based on the latest version of Windows. Remember, the final version of Windows 7 has not yet been released, updating is now under construction.
Viliv S5 mobile internet device has for some time sold to the Asian market, and recently started its sales in the United States. Initially, the model is running Windows XP. It is equipped with 4.8-inch touch screen and it is based on Intel Atom Z520 processor with a clock speed of 1.33 GHz. Also among the characteristics of the device is 1 GB RAM, 60 GB hard drive, wireless modules are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and GPS receiver, optional 3G/4G modem proposed.
Besides Viliv S5 with Windows 7 at Computex, Viliv will be demonstrated by a number of mobile Internet devices: S5, X70 Ex and S7 of different types of embedded modems; WiMAX, 3G HSDPA, TD-SCDMA, or EVDO. As well as the expected presentation of two completely new models: the 10-inch netbook with turning the keyboard and 4.9-inch MID with the keyboard (perhaps slightly modified version of S5).
