Viliv S5 Premium Air and Air Ready: two MIDs hits China in June
May 28, 2009 Internet
Viliv has added two new models to the line of mobile internet devices, Viliv S5 series. These are Viliv S5 Premium Air and S5 Premium Air Ready. Both models are equipped with the new touchscreen keyboard with tactile impact (new haptic keyboard) and supports Chinese handwriting input.
Both models have solid state drive (SSD). Viliv S5 Premium Air initially supports HSDPA, but the Viliv S5 Premium Air Ready will not be built in 3G modem, but the model will be PCI-Express slot and SIM card ready, so this model has ability to easily hold an “upgrade” to 3G supports or HSDPA/EVDO modem card. Presumably, they will go on sale in China as early as June. On the supply and the beginning of sales in the U.S. and Europe has not yet been reported. The value of models is yet reported.
