Viliv S7 Netbook hits US from $629

Viliv finally released for sale the Viliv S7 netbook (although the company’s own product is classified as UMPC). It was first demonstrated last summer.

Basic configuration of Viliv S7 is equipped with a 7-inch swivel touch screen with a resolution 1024×600 pixel, an Intel Atom Z520 processor with a clock speed of 1.33 GHz, 1GB of RAM and 60GB hard drive. Optionally, the device can be fitted with 32GB solid state drive (SSD) module and cellular third generation (3G) standard, with support for HSPA modem. With 3G modem, this netbook can even be used as a mobile phone.

It has running on Windows XP. By the way, to get out of “sleep” mode, the computer needs just 4 seconds. Viliv S7 has equip two USB 2.0 ports, single-slot mini-USB, slot for SDHC memory card, Webcam, VGA output, audio input and output, and built-in speaker and microphone.

The Viliv S7 is capable video playback with 80% brightness with for up to 7.5 hours, and working with office applications is two hours longer. Retailer Dynamism has promises to begin selling of Viliv S7 in the US market in the near future, the basic configuration will cost $629.
