Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 Windows tablet for professional artists and designers

Wacom has recently officially announced a new business-oriented tablet at the CES 2015, namely the Wacom Cintiq Companion 2. It is designed for used by professional creators of digital content, which need a high-resolution and precision graphics. Alongside modern updates professionals need, the Cintiq Companion 2 touchscreen tablet provides an adjustable stand (4-position) to offers better usefulness in different position.

Rounding on the specs sheet, it packs a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixel as well as advanced controls such as the ‘ultra-fine precision’ Wacom Pro-Pen and multi touch. That’s support for 2048 pressure sensitivity levels combined with tilt recognition. Well, artists and designers will get some experience a ‘pen on paper’ level of interaction.

Besides standalone Windows 8 tablet, the Wacom 13.3-inch Cintiq Companion 2 can be act as a secondary display when you’ve connect it with a computer. It’s got 4GB to 16GB of RAM, while the solid state storage is 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The professional-oriented tablet has dimensions of 14.7 x 9.9 x 0.6 inches and weighs 1.75 kg.

The Wacom 13.3 inch Cintiq Companion 2 Windows tablet is expected to be hit the streets sometime in February. Asking about price, it could be £1199.99 (64GB model), £1299.99 (128GB), £1599.99 (256GB), and £1999.99 (512GB).
