Wanxin H1 Netbook, “younger brother” of Acer Aspire One?
Taiwanese company Wanxin presented a Wanxin H1 netbook, which closely resembles the famous design of Acer Aspire One. But it is only at first sight, and only in the design. These netbook are some differences in “content”, which is quite significant. If the first model of Acer Aspire One received an 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and it is based on Windows XP or Linux, but Wanxin H1 is equipped with 9-inch display with a resolution 800×480 pixel LED-backlit and runs under Windows CE, the operating system for smartphones and PDAs. Wanxin H1 comes with 256 MB of RAM and SSD from 4 to 8GB. Wanxin H1 netbook is built on the Samsung processor, the exact model is not yet known.
On the right side netbook has three ports USB, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g, VGA output, and Ethernet port. It also supports wireless GSM / GPRS and comes with a 2100 mAh battery or 4200 mAh battery. Battery life time in standby has reaches up to 2 or up to 4 hours, respectively. Dimensions are 248x170x28 mm, and weight less than 1kg.
Wanxin H1 is only one of the “original” Wanxin netbook. The company also has a T1 netbook with 10.2-inch display and a processor Intel Atom, as well as the U1 model with 7-inch display. There is no information on prices from the sale of this Taiwanese netbook.
