The German company, Wortmann AG has announced a latest desktop replacement, the Wortmann Terra Mobile 1772. This notebook is based on Intel Calpella platform.

The Terra Mobile 1772 is powered by a 2.27 GHz Intel Core i5-430M dual-core processor, Intel HM55 chipset, 3GB of RAM (up to 8GB), and a 320GB hard drive. This Wortmann notebook is brings a 17-inch display with WSXGA+ resolution (1680×1050 pixels), a DVD burner, a 1GB GeForce GTS 250 graphics card.

Wortmann Terra Mobile 1772 notebook is equipped with Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, a 2MP webcam, a card reader (MMC/SD/MS), four speakers and one subwoofer. It packs three USB2.0 ports, e-SATA/USB, HDMI, D-Sub, and an ExpressCard slot. Dimensions of Terra Mobile 1772 notebook are 395x278x26.5-33.5 mm and weight about 3.1 kg. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. The Terra Mobile 1772 has priced at 1,199 Euro.
