Zotac, well-known tiny computer maker, has recently unveiled a new small desktop PC, the Zotac ZBOX MI521nano XS. The machine boasts an Intel Core i3 Haswell processor to ensure delivering a better performance. Zotac’s latest mini-desktop computer will be available in two model options. The first is a Zotac ZBOX MI521nano XS Plus, which has 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD (solid state storage). The other one is a barebones version and buyers have to provide their own storage and memory.
Both models are require users to supply own operating system into the machine. The inside, lies on an Intel Core i3-4030U dual-core processor paired with Intel HD graphics. New Zotac ZBOX MI521 nano XS tiny desktop offers mSATA card slots as its solid state storage, and holds up to 16GB of RAM.
Connectivity with other peripheral, two Zotac mini PCs are equipped with WiFi 802.11ac, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports. The device is support two displays with HDMI and mini DisplayPort output. There is a SDXC memory card reader for additional storage.
There is no word on size of the new version but it’s expected around 4.2 x 4.2 x 1.4 inches that found on AMD-powered version. Keep in mind that the pricing and availability of ZBOX MI521nano XS are still mystery at moment.
