ZTE, the Chinese phone company, has silently announced a new large-screen phone, the ZTE ZMax. Reportedly, this phone is available exclusive to T-Mobile in the United States. The carrier plans to start selling the handset on September 24th. Customers can grab the ZTE ZMax phablet for cost $252 or $10.50 per month with a payment plan (24-month term). Well, ZTE is trying its affordable phablet to the U.S. phone market.
It promises to bring a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixel) touchscreen TFT LCD display coated by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Wrapped in plastic case, the inside of phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and Adreno 305 GPU. The ZTE ZMax smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and a large 3400 mAh battery.
New phone has an 8-megapixel camera on the back with flash, and a 1.6MP front-facing camera for selfie. It’s got 16GB of internal storage and can accept a 32GB microSD card for expansion. Other notable features include Dolby Digital sound, LTE, GSM, and a smooth back plate.
