Dell Venue 8 7000 ultra-thin tablet now available

Already unveiled last year, the Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet is now available for purchase in the United States, Canada, and other countries around the world (soon). Customers interested in this 8.4-inch tablet can order one directly from Dell‘s website and starting price of $449.99 CDN. In the US, this Android tablet will come in priced at $399. Company claims the device is the world’s thinnest tablet and was officially introduced back in September 2014. In terms of design, it is one of the most well-designed tablets on the market ever.


Beside the 6mm thin frame, new Venue 8 7000 brings the three cameras located on the back that taken together. They are one 8MP camera (near the bottom of the tablet) and two 720p stereoscopic cameras. Users will also easily to edit a photo paired with Dell’s software for organizes photos automatically based on person, place or feature. The Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet offers RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera, which is being licensed by Intel. Inside of a pretty tablet has a new quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It’s got 16GB of onboard storage that actual useable space will be less. But users can further expand internal memory up to 512GB via microSD card slot. On software department, the ultra-thin Venue 8 7000 tablet is delivering Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Dell has promised an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop shortly.

If you’re interested the device, the tablet is already show off at CES 2015 event. The Dell “world’s thinnest tablet” Venue 8 7000 tablet will be arrive in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, India, Germany, and the UK sometime in early 2015. Reportedly, the LTE-enabled tablet will also available soon.
