Garmin has recently launched a new smartwatch that designed for seafarers, called the Garmin Quatix 3. Company says it is perfectly for maritime applications and could be the wrists of seafarers worldwide. Well, the Garmin Quatix 3 comes with GPS alongside a number of useful cruising, fishing and sailing applications. Reportedly, that’s able to streaming NMEA 2000 data from compatible internal Garmin marine electronics, which is directly to the wrist.
In term of hardware, the Quatix 3 marine GPS smartwatch has a high-resolution color display and designed for easily read in full sunlight. Even built-in marine specific features, this wrist-watch can be also use for a multisport activities. That’s including golfers, rowers, skiers, swimmers, runners, and more.
The watch can displaying important information such as speed, depth, temperature, wind data, and so on. Users are also able to boaters to stop and start recording. It is also take still images with the Garmin VIRB action camera. This smartwatch will also control the Fusion stereo system.
