Google Chromecast Ultra 4K-enabled device now available

Already introduced over a month ago, Google’s 4K-enabled Chromecast Ultra could be yours who living in Canada. Yes, the device is currently available through the Canadian Google Store for $90 CAD in ‘limited quantities.’ Buyers is also getting free standard delivery.



Google has noted the new 4K-enabled Chromecast Ultra is 1.8 times faster than its predecessor. As the fastest Chromecast yet, it has better dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac support. Announced on October 4th, the device is support for 4K, high dynamic range (HDR) and Dolby Vision. There are also an ethernet cord and port in the power adapter. New device is the first Chromecast device with support for 4K Ultra HD and High Dynamic Range (HDR) support.


Good thing, the Chromecast Ultra is also capable to respond to the Google Assistant that integration with Google Home. Google’s 4K-enabled device is requiring a 4K-compatible HDTV with an HDMI port. Thus, it is including a broadband internet connection to stream content in 4K. Keep in mind it will also work on a standard HDTV. users can easily stream 4K content from Netflix, YouTube and Vudu. Other noteworthy features are similar to earlier Chromecast devices such as casting content from apps using your phone, tablet or laptop. It can mirroring content from Android device or from a browser tab on your laptop (using Chrome) to the TV and more.
