LG Electronics will show its newest premium IPS LCD monitors, the LG EA93 and the LG EA83 at IFA 2012 (August 31 – September 5, Berlin, Germany). Reportedly, these monitors are designed for entertainment and professional, respectively.
The LG EA93 packs a 29-inch cinematic screen with 21:9 aspect ratio, resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels, and 5ms response time. Moreover, it provides 100 percent of sRGB color space and a brightness of 300 cd/m2 that ensuring the highest quality realistic colors. So the EA93 is aimed at home entertainment and multi-tasking. This monitor is also 178/178-degree wide viewing angle, and 4-Screen Split feature that allows users to divide the screen into four segments for advanced multitasking. There are 2x7W stereo speakers that intended for multimedia.
Suitable for handle graphics-intensive applications, LG EA83 monitor has 27-inch panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD). It is also covered 99 percent of sRGB color space, brightness ratio of 350 cd/m2, 5ms response time, and 178 degrees viewing angle.
Both LG monitors are equipped with DVI, HDMI and Display Port, as well as a 3-port USB 3.0 hub. These monitors offer PBP (display of two sources at the same time) and PIP (picture in picture).
The price of new LG EA93 21:9 cinematic display and EA83 professional monitor is not reported yet.
