Good news for wearable gadget fans that LG G Watch is now available in Google Play Store. You can pre-order the device for cost $229 or €167 in 12 initial key markets such as the US, the UK, Canada, Italy, South Korea and Japan.
Officially introduced back in April this year, the LG G Watch has a minimalist design, which haven’t any physical buttons. It also doesn’t feature a camera, which looks like the Samsung Gear 2 Neo (it’s selling at $199 or €146).
Moving on to the ruggedness, LG’s G Watch fits an IP67 protection rating that survive from dust and water. Meanwhile, LG wristwatch is able to safe even up to 30 minutes in water at the depth of 1 meter. New LG G Watch has an always-on 1.65-inch LCD IPS display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels that a bit lower screen compare than the Samsung Gear 2 (a 320 x 320 pixels). The inside of device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 512MB of onboard storage.
Power for the device comes from a 400mAh internal battery, which is a bigger capacity than the Gear 2 (just 300 mAh). Joining a gyroscope, accelerometer and compass, the LG G Watch provides Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The little device is weighing just 63 grams and compatible with any smartphones to runs Android 4.3 or above.
