After unveiling the Gentle, LG Electronics has also introduced another clamshell Android smartphone for worldwide audience. New flip phone is dubbed the LG Wine Smart, which is successor of last year’s model. Coming in a classic clamshell phone form factor, it is basically an Android smartphone with a touchscreen capability and Android apps support.
The South Korean company has mentioned that the LG Wine Smart Android-powered flip phone will be arrive starts August in several countries such as France, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Spain.
Moving on specs, the Wine Smart packs a 3.2-inch (480 x 320 pixel) display paired with a 1.1GHz quad-core processor. It’s got 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for expansion storage. There are a 3MP rear-facing camera, and a VGA selfie snapper. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE.
This clamshell LG Wine Smart phone is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. You’ll see back, home, and recents buttons that located at the top of the keypad. Thus, a direction pad and dedicated camera, email, favorites, and contacts buttons are also available. Good thing, the phone has a 1,700 mAh user replaceable battery, which is a removable type.
