Nintendo Switch game console/tablet hybrid announced

Nintendo, one of pioneer game console producers, has officially introduced company’s latest product that becomes hybrid device on market. Called the Nintendo Switch, it is a game console/tablet hybrid with detachable controllers. For exactly, the device has two detachable, one-handed controllers that and a Switch Dock for connecting it to TV.


The inside is a custom Tegra processor with an NVIDIA GPU, which is same architecture as the GeForce gaming graphics cards, according to NVIDIA. Nintendo mentioned the system will instantly transition to portable mode when you’re simply lifting Nintendo Switch from the dock.

NVIDIA gaming technology is integrated into all aspects of the new Nintendo Switch home gaming system, which promises to deliver a great experience to gamers.

Nintendo Switch hybrid game console packs a high-definition display with a kick stand on the back, and a slot for game card. By removing detachable Joy-Con controllers from either side of Nintendo Switch, two players can each take one. But you can still one player can use a Joy-Con controller in each hand. Interestingly, multiple Joy-Con can be employed by numerous people for a variety of gameplay options.

There are controllers that able to click back into place or it can be slipped into a Joy-Con Grip accessory. However, Nintendo offers gamers to decide select an optional Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to use instead of the Joy-Con controllers.

Official price and release date of Nintendo Switch game console is unknown this moment. But Company plans to sell Nintendo’s new portable home console hybrid sometime in March 2017. It seems successor to the ill-fated Wii U, the portable-focused Switch is formerly known by the codename NX.
