Pebble 2, Time 2 smartwatches and Core fitness tracker announced

Pebble has decided to offer three new products on Kickstarter. They are Pebble 2, Pebble Time 2 smartwatches and the Pebble Core fitness tracker.

Let’s talk about two first models, the Pebble 2 and the Pebble Time 2 smartwatches are the successors of the original Pebble and the Pebble Time. Both comes with two most attractive features including the fitness tracking ability and the heart-rate monitoring, which has sensor located at the back. These devices provides built-in microphones and also support are water resistant up to 30 meters.


There are difference between them. The Pebble 2 smartwatch comes with a slightly bigger E-Ink and also providing a Corning Gorilla Glass protection, as well as around 7 days of battery life. The Pebble Time 2 smartwatch brings a 50 percent larger color e-paper screen. Thus, the Pebble Time 2 is capable to delivering up to 10 days with single charge.

Speaking of company’s first fitness tracker, it has named as Pebble Core. The fitness tracker looks like a tiny square clip-on box that provides its magnetic clip can either clip on to their clothes or users can even clip it to their keychain.

The Pebble Core is integrated GPS to ensure tracking position of you. Aside a 3G modem, it can stream Spotify playlists for you over 3G or Wi-Fi. This device packs 4GB of built-in storage that with the help of Pebble app can let you sync the Spotify Premium music directly on the Core. You can use the 3.5mm audio jack on the Pebble Core or use Bluetooth for wireless headphones. The battery life is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of music playback with GPS.

According to source, the Pebble 2 costs $99 and expected to ship sometime in September. But the Pebble Time 2 is price of $169 and will start ship in November. Customers will able to pick one up the Pebble Core for $69 and will start shipping in January.
