Toshiba has officially announced a new memory card for people who think timing is everything. It is the Toshiba UHS-II microSD card that claims the World’s fastest ever. New memory card is also one of the first microSD card to fits the UHS-II standard, which is usually found on the larger SD memory cards.
Company will offer the Toshiba UHS-II microSD card in two capacities – 32GB and 64GB. Speed performance of new microSD card is depending on its capacity storage space. That’s usual the case of storage devices that based on NAND Flash solid-state technology. The latter model delivers 145MB/s read and 130MB/s write speeds, while the little version can reach read and write speeds of 260MB/s and 240MB/s, respectively.
Toshiba UHS-II is perfectly for devices that supports high-quality 4K video capture at constant minimum write speeds of 30MB/s. Meanwhile, it can be used on 4K2K video, live broadcast and high-performance cameras.
Availability and pricing for it hasn’t been made public yet.
