VIA Technologies has just introduced a new small form factor PC, the VIA ARMTiGO A800. Designed for use in embedded applications, it including digital signage, surveillance, hotel automation, medical and healthcare. It claims that the VIA ARMTiGO A800 is the world’s smallest ARM computer to use for embedded application. The ARMTiGO A800 measures 120 x 125 x 30 mm, which is fit easily into any environment, such as behind a monitor or on the wall.
Heart of VIA ARMTiGO A800 nettop is a Freescale i.MX537 ARM Cortex-A8 processor clocked at 800MHz. For storage term, the machine provides 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot for expansion.
New ARMTiGO A800 mini-PC has 10/100 Ethernet, HDMI, D-Sub, four USB 2.0 ports, audio jack and microphone jack. It is support for 1080p high-definition video playback and optional WiFi module. This mini PC is utilized passive cooling system that offers silent operational.
The price of VIA ARMTiGO A800 small form factor PC is not reported yet.
