Withings, well-known a company that owned by Nokia, has recently unveiled a new smart scale. It is called the Body Cardio, which becomes the smart scale device. New Withings Body Cardio is take advantages of Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV) measurements. That’s also a key indicator of cardiac health. It is also associated with hypertension and risks of cardiovascular incidents.
Interestingly, the Withings Body Cardio smart scale is capable to display accurate measures of weight, BMI, body composition (fat, muscle, water & bone mass), as well as standing heart rate. Body Cardio takes just seconds to show these body stats. There is Health Mate application to give users the evolution of its PWV (m/s) over time.
This smart scale provides award-winning Withings Health Mate iOS and Android app for free. It is automatically syncs data after every use of the scale. Thus, its data will be store in the Health Mate app seamlessly integrates with the Apple Health app.
Body Cardio is now available exclusively through Apple stores and Withings.com for cost $179.95. Reportedly, it would be roll out at several retailers sometime in the summer of 2016.
