ZTE has officially announced to update of its first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean smartphone, the ZTE N880E. This handset is getting the new version of the OS, the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. So, it is becoming the first Chinese company to launch a smartphone with this latest version Android.
Reportedly, it will make improvements to equipment stability and performance. Already available in China since May 2012, the ZTE N880E smartphone is sold in more one million units.
Inside, the ZTE N880E has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7627A single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of onboard storage. New N880E smartphone comes with a 4-inch touchscreen display and a resolution of WVGA 480 x 800 pixels. Just 10.4mm ultra-thin metal appearance, the smartphone provides a MicroSD card slot, a 3MP rear-facing camera, and a 1650 mAh battery.
